Made of a perfect mix of soft Cerium and hard iron metal (giving it the name Ferrocerium). Soft Cerium and Magnesium allows for hot 5,430 degree Fahrenheit sparks and hard iron that allows for a lifetime of reliable use and Strikes.
Waterproof fire starting, not effected by altitude, reliability in all weather conditions, non-corrosive to water and air.
1/2″x5″ Huge Ferrocerium flint fire starter rod that will lasts a lifetime
5″ length is easy to hold and scrap with any sharp 90 degree edge.
1/2″ diameter is enough ferrocerium to last approximately 400,000 strikes.
If weather conditions are bad these will still be reliable. The wind, rain, snow, sleet, water or altitude still will not effect the 4DB ferrocerium rods.
