The ceramic striker in the handle works awesome
This is a good quality firesteel system. The ferro rod word throws a lot of sparks, I had never used ceramic in place of a steel striker but the ceramic striker in the handle works awesome! Decent size ferrocerium rod and I really like the large storage compartment as u can add various fire tinder so for your fire, overall I was impressed with the build quality.

Absolutely love this piece of gear. It is very well made and has a very nice waterproof storage capsule for what ever tinder you choose to carry. It is easy to throw big sparks, replace the Ferro rod and the rod is well protected from elements or damage. Im impressed how well the ceramic striker works. No matter what hand size this will feel comfortable and controllable.

The sparks created by the ceramic are large and hot.
The quality of the product is evident from the moment you open the box. The ceramic fire starter is a new option and it works extremely well. The sparks created by the ceramic are large and hot. With proper tinder I have been able to start a fire on my first strike.
