Hydration Technology Innovations Expedition Water Filter
The Expedition has 2 separate chambers in the bladder. In regular use with clean water just the first chamber is used. In an emergency or when needed the 2nd chamber can be filled with dirty water, add the sports drink syrup to power the osmotic filter. This turns the dirty water into a clean sports that is filtered and pumped into the 1st clean water chamber. The filter uses a passive osmotic process so it never clogs, requires no pumping and filters down to the atomic level (3-5 angstroms – which is .3-.5 billionths of a meter) so the filter removes even the smallest viruses to the same purity of a complicated reverse osmosis machine.
