Our knives are manufactured from top quality materials:
STEEL
Molybdenum-Vanadium (MOVA). It´s a classic steel in our Knives and folding Knives. A excellent combination of Molybdenum and Vanadium, with double heat treatment for 56-58 HRC, that is highly stain resistant, though and particularly resistant to corrosion. Maintain their sharpness for a long time and it is easy to sharpen.
BHLER N690 Cobalt. N690 hler Steel is extremely fine grained creating a blade that will retain its sharpness when subject to periods of use. By adding cobalt, an extremely unusual alloying element, the steel creates an uncommon uniformity providing a fine and consistent edge, enhancing edge retention and sharpening receptivity. Hardness range of 59-61 HRC.
SANDVIK 12C27. Sandvik’s most well-rounded knife steel with excellent edge performance allowing razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. With a hardness range of 54-61 HRC, it is the recommended grade for bushcraft knives.
HANDLE
MICARTA. It is a durable knife handle material made from layers of various materials like paper, canvas or linen and held together by a epoxy resin at very high pressures and high temperatures creating a material highly resistant to shocks and corrosion. Another characteristic is its lightness and ability to withstand corrosion, humidity and extreme temperatures.
COCOBOLO Exotic Wood. It is a tropical hardwood of Central American. Because it stands up well to repeated handling and exposure to water, a common use is for gun grips and knife handles. It is very hard, fine textured and dense.
GRANADILLO Exotic Wood. It is hard and straight with a closed grain structure with a very beatiful effect. The density of the wood is very high.
Ancient OLIVE Wood. It is very hard, strong and durable. The age of the tree helps to create the unique grain patterns that make these items so individual: no two items fashioned from olive wood can ever be identical.
SHEATH
Our sheaths are manufactured with Handcrafted Genuine Leather, with an especially soft texture, perfect for storing and protecting your knife.
Our desings include multi-positioned sheaths (vertical and horizontal) and come with accesories as sharpener stone & firesteel.

About Survival Knives

When your survival depends on them, survival knives are crafted to handle demanding circumstances. They are tough use tools and can be used for cutting, prying, wood carving, self defense, and lots of other jobs. The JEO-TEC N29 Bushcraft Survival Hunting Camping Knife – MOVA-58 Stainless Steel – Multi-positioned Leather Sheath – Handmade in Spain can possibly function as a survival knife in certain situations.

Parts of a Knife

The primary parts of the knife are the blade, hilt, grip, tang, and pommel or butt. The tang is the piece of metal that runs the full length of the knife from pommel to point. The pommel or butt is at the back of the knife (end toward the cutter when held commonly in hand).

Fixed Blade VS Folding Survival Knives

There are a number of different types of knives including fixed blades and folding knives. Fixed blades are normally better for heavy-duty cutting tasks. The sturdiness of the blade helps the cutter control the knife edge more effectively, and the blade normally holds up better over the long run. Common fixed blade knife types include full-length hunting knives, camping knives, fighting knives, and sushi knives. Folding knives are more compact than fixed blade knives and quickly carried in a pocket for every-day-carry (EDC). The method of how the blade folds into the grip makes it a practical choice for smaller sized pocket knives.

JEO-TEC Knife Blade Care and Maintenance

JEO-TEC knives must be cared for and kept correctly to maximize their useful life as a cutting tool. Blade upkeep includes sometimes honing the edge with a grinder, diamond, or whetstone sharpener and rubbing the blade down with a light coat of oil.

Knife Laws and Bladed Weapon Carry Regulations

Lots of states, regions, and locations have guidelines about possessing knives and bladed weapons. Some of these weapon related laws might apply to the JEO-TEC N29 Bushcraft Survival Hunting Camping Knife – MOVA-58 Stainless Steel – Multi-positioned Leather Sheath – Handmade in Spain. The laws depend on things like the type of knife, how the knife is carried, the blade length, and possession areas where the knife is carried. There are a couple of basic guidelines you can follow when carrying a blade.

Beware possessing knives which are hidden because this categorizes the knife as a concealed carry weapon (CCW). Some states have guidelines limiting particular things like blade lengths over 3 inches. For fixed blade knives, carry them on your belt when you are working outside, outdoor camping, exploring, or out adventuring in the outdoors.

For folding blade knives, again beware of possessing folding blade lengths over 3 inches hidden. If your region or state requires it, look into getting a CCW license. Knives which have assisted opening capabilities or automatic openers are usually restricted.

Take care possessing knives in places around federal government structures, schools, and public events. The majority of special events like sporting events, county fairs, and concerts do not permit knives of any kind and security will take them upon entry.
