This blade is handmade from high quality D-2 steel.
D-2 is a high-carbon tool steel, capable of holding a sharp edge for a long period of time. It is also much more resistant to corrosion than 1095. D-2 is called “semi-stainless”, because it offers more stainless properties than high carbon steels. It is also much tougher than premium stainless steels. D-2 has high wear-resistance and abrasion-resistance properties. It is heat treated and offers a hardness up to 58 HRC. This knife blank is custom designed by us and 100% hand-forged. Blank has been hammered on the sides to give it a unique look.
